Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional Therapy, aimed at our younger patients starting at the age of 12 months, is also extended to future mothers, offering counseling during gestation and postpartum. From dietary recommendations to the use of products containing fluorine, our aim is to prevent carious lesions. An initial appointment, scheduled between the 1º and 2º year of life is the optimum starting point to establish a gradual collaboration with your child, facilitating their comprehension of the work we do. Myofunctional Therapy accompanies children through their first 5 years, taking advantage of their first growth period, correcting skeletal classes and bites. This integrated approach involves different professionals, which include: odontologists, otolaryngologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists and osteopaths. The use of premixed 50% Nitrous Oxide enriched Oxygen helps overcome fear, guaranteeing a stress free treatment path for our younger patients.

Complete Care from the First Year of Life

Active Prevention of Carious Lesions

Through dietary recommendations and advice on the use of fluorine based products, we aim to actively prevent the formation of carious lesions, ensuring healthy and robust tooth growth.

Targeted Correction between the Ages of 2 and 5

Myofunctional Therapy is most effective between the ages of 2 and 5, taking advantage of a child’s first growth peak, aiming at correcting bite and skeletal classes and ensuring long lasting results.

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a clinical instrument that helps patients be sedated without the use of pharmaceuticals; it can be used with patients who may have certain allergies, who suffer from anxiety or who fear dental appointments.

L’ipnosi è un fenomeno che modula l’ATTENZIONE VOLONTARIA su qualcosa di molto piacevole e rilassante, senza assolutamente svolgere un controllo mentale.

Our speech therapists works closely with our dental professionals in order to improve a child’s phonetics and ability to communicate. Through the use of special therapeutic techniques, it contributes to solving issues related to delays in speech and promotes a more clear and efficient communication.

Otolaryngologist

Our otolaryngologists actively collaborate with our dental professionals in order to tackle issue pertaining to the respiratory tract (adenoids, nasal septum deviations, snoring and sleep apnea) in children. The contribution of our colleagues ensure excellent and optimal results.

Physiotherapist/Osteopath

Working closely with our dental professionals, our osteopath strives to evaluate and tackle any issues pertaining to a child’s posture and muscular problems that can influence oral health. Thanks to the use of specific osteopathic treatments, we aim to create a solid base for dental health, ensuring that the body is in perfect harmony with the smile.

Orthodontics

Between the ages of 6 and 7, patients pass onto our team of orthodontists who, after a complete study, create a personalized plan for the patient. Treatment is adapted to intervene at the optimal moment and concluding around the age of 18, in order to ensure long lasting results. Collaboration between our teams of experts continues and it guarantees a beautiful and functional smile during every phase of treatment.
